Commonwealth Senior Living at Charlottesville recently completed an extensive renovation, including the addition of new assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

“We can now offer additional services for our residents and their loved ones that ensure continuity of community and care,” said Monica Adcock, the Charlottesville, VA, community’s executive director.

The assisted living neighborhood includes 19 rooms, and the memory care neighborhood includes 21 rooms. The newly renovated community features Sweet Memories, an award-winning and signature program for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

The renovation enhanced community spaces and enabled features such as a fitness center, all-day restaurant-style dining, an on-site salon, transportation, daily social events and planned activities, an underground parking garage and additional on-site storage. Residents have housekeeping services, and linen services also are available for assisted living and memory care residents.

CSL also has upgraded its emergency features, and residents have the option of wearing an emergency pendant if the need arises.
