A Parker House Assisted Living will be built in Quincy Village, PA, a Presbyterian Senior Living Community. Construction for the $10 million project will begin by the end of this year and is expected for completion in late summer 2016.

Parker House will feature a cluster of three assisted living houses, each with 16 residents. It will provide a more homelike and supportive environment, with a design that will accommodate older adults with a wide range of disabilities.

The smaller home-like design will consist of a front hall, living room, dining room, kitchen and den, with shorter hallways to bedrooms and living areas. The family-style dining will have fireplaces as well as outdoor spaces, and all residents are invited to help prepare meals.
