Renee the Clydesdale visits residents of The Village of East Harbor.

It was “pet therapy on steroids” when a special visitor recently roamed the halls of The Village of East Harbor, according to Administrator Carolyn Martin.

Renee, a Clydesdale horse affectionately known as Neigh-Neigh, visited the Chesterfield, MI, life plan community, which is part of Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. The trip ended up being featured on The Today Show, Reddit, and several TV broadcast across the country, Martin told McKnight’s Senior Living.
