The residents of Park Pointe Village, an ACTS Retirement-Life Community in Rock Hill, SC, were on a mission to visit all 47 South Carolina state parks. More than 70 seniors participated in this journey, which spanned 5,921 miles.
The 14-month expedition, which began in January 2015, took residents from the mountains of the upstate, through historic battlefields and down the coast.
