SeniorCaring.com

Does the seniors housing and care industry need another source of leads? Lancaster, PA-based Track 5 Media believes the answer is yes and has launched SeniorCaring.com based on that premise.

The site is designed to be an extension of the sales and marketing team of a senior living community, with SeniorCaring.com advisers managing everything from initial inquiries to defining resident needs to scheduling tours. Sales and marketing professionals at contracted communities have access to SeniorCaring.com’s customized resident management system, which enables them to communicate with the advisers and monitor the status of each referral. When a referral turns into a resident, the selected community pays a one-time fee equal to a negotiable portion of the resident’s first month’s rent.

The site features information about independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and continuing care retirement / life plan communities across the country, and it also covers home care. All senior living communities contracting with SeniorCaring.com must provide validation of their license, recent inspections and a list of their most recent violations, if any.

“Our team also regularly confirms this information with each state to ensure that we have the most up-to-date information on each of our partner communities,” Track 5 Media co-founder and President Oliver Feakins told McKnight’s Senior Living. “As part of our contract, SeniorCaring.com also requires each partner community to update their information once a year.”

Site visitors either complete an online form or call one of the site’s senior care advisers. After a conversation about the older adult’s needs and the type of care or service that he or she seeks, the adviser will work to find a community match or matches for the prospective resident.

The site also features general information about the types of senior living as well as state-specific information.

“Care-seekers who come to our website will be able to browse communities without providing personal information,” Feakins said. “They also will have the opportunity to learn about common senior illnesses and health conditions and communicate directly with a community of experts and caregivers.”

SeniorCaring.com joins other websites managed by Track 5 Media, including TravelNurseSource.com, AlliedTravelCareers.com and LocumJobsOnline.com. Track 5 Media was founded in 2007.
