McKnight’s Senior Living has won 2016 Hermes Creative Awards for its website and magazine.

The international competition, which is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, recognizes the work of creative professionals involved in the conceptualizing, writing and design of both traditional materials and emerging technologies.

McKnight’s Senior Living won a Platinum Award in the Website Overall – Business to Business category and a Gold Award in the Design – Publication Overall category.

Formerly known as McKnight’s Assisted Living, in 2015 the national media brand changed its name to McKnight’s Senior Living and expanded to include its own website and free daily e-newsletter, the Daily Briefing, as well as a Facebook page and Twitter account. The print magazine, which has been published since 2003, unveiled a redesign earlier this year. The editorial and design staff includes John O’Connor, editorial director; Lois A. Bowers, senior editor; and Mark Speakman, art director.

Sister media brand McKnight’s Long-Term Care News also won Hermes Creative Awards this year: a Platinum Award for blog writing; Gold Awards for news writing and print publication design; and an honorable mention for the brand’s 2016 media kit. McKnight’s Long-Term Care News has won a total of 17 Hermes awards since 2013, including this year’s winners.
