Chattanooga, TN-based Vikus Corp. has been acquired by HealthcareSource, a Woburn, MA-based provider of talent management solutions for the healthcare industry, the companies announced Tuesday.

The acquisition closed this month. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Vikus provides end-to-end hiring software for senior living and long-term care providers. The company serves more than 3,000 facilities using its software-as-a-service solution to help attract, hire and retain employees. It is adding an average of 80 facilities per month, HealthcareSource said.

“With a complimentary mission, HealthcareSource was the best choice to help us advance our business to bring the best care possible to the aging population,” said Vikus Chief Operating Officer Trey Mullins, who will continue to oversee the business' client operations and will help with integration. “By integrating core talent management offerings, such as learning and performance management, we can now continue to grow talent after the initial hire. Together, we will enable providers to connect their entire healthcare workforce on a single platform.”

The Vikus product suite will be rebranded as HealthcareSource Senior Living and Post-Acute.

The combined company will have more than 6,300 healthcare clients, serving the talent management needs of more than 50% of the registered hospitals in the United States and processing more than 13 million healthcare job applications every year, according to HealthcareSource.
