Argentum has selected 27 professionals as part of its inaugural cohort for its senior living industry leadership development program.
The Leadership Advancement & Development (LEAD) Program participants, representing 14 senior living owners and operators, targets “a need identified by Argentum’s members for authentic development of future executive senior living leaders,” according to the organization. Members were chosen based on committee review and recommendations.
Members will participate in a series of networking and training opportunities, culminating at Argentum’s 2021 Senior Living Executive Conference in Nashville, TN, May 10 to 12. Conference participants also will have access to a one-day “Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence” program from the Disney Institute.
Participants will complete capstone projects on COVID-19-related topics and the future, including emergency preparedness for the next pandemic, ramping up telehealth, and creative staffing solutions.
“Improving the depth and succession for executive leaders is critical for the long-term health and continuity of senior living owners and operators,” Argentum President and CEO James Balda said in a statement. “We are proud of the quality and diversity of this first outstanding class of leaders, and we appreciate the industry’s commitment to the program during this especially challenging time.”
