Commonwealth Senior Living's rebranding includes a new logo and color palette.

Charlottesville, VA-based Commonwealth Assisted Living has changed its name to Commonwealth Senior Living, the company announced Tuesday.

The new brand is designed to relay better the fact that the company offers independent living and memory care in addition to assisted living.

Founded in 2002, Commonwealth Senior Living has grown to 23 communities in Virginia with more than 1,500 residents and a similar number of employees. All but two of the communities offer the Sweet Memories program providing care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

The rebranding also includes a new logo and color palate. The new name, logo and color palette for marketing materials became effective Nov. 1.
