Capital Funding Group has closed a HUD loan for The WaterLeaf at Land Park in Sacramento, California.

The 53-bed assisted living facility received a bridge loan in 2012 and recapitalized the borrowing entity with more than $1 million in cash. The HUD transaction closed on July 8 for around $5.5 million.

The group also announced the refinance of a bridge loan for Palatka Health Care Center, a 180-bed skilled nursing facility. Capital Funding original provided the bridge loan in September 2014 to fund buying the facility. The $14 million HUD refinance was closed in June 2015 with Capital Funding as the sole lender.
