The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care has added Brookdale Senior Living President and CEO Lucinda “Cindy” Baier to its board of directors.
Baier will work to help advance NIC’s mission of enabling access and choice through data, analytics, and connections that bring together investors and providers.
“I am pleased to join the NIC board and help guide its work in connecting senior living providers, care organizations and investors,” she said. “These connections ultimately allow for more choice for America’s seniors, and that is aligned with Brookdale’s vision.”
Baier’s term will end Dec. 31, 2020.

Baier also is joining the Nashville Healthcare Council Board of Directors. The council focuses on providing executives with timely information on key operational and policy challenges facing healthcare companies.
Baier’s appointment to the council starts July 1 and runs through June 30, 2019.
