Bellevue, WA-based not-for-profit senior living operator Transforming Age has affiliated with one of Washington state’s only adult day health and in-home care not-for-profit organizations, Full Life Care, the companies announced Tuesday.
The two companies will continue to run as individual 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations. The new relationship, however, will operate under the Transforming Age board, which now also includes a former member of the Full Life board.
“This is an exciting new chapter for us, one which I’m certain will help us serve more people and grow our collective impact at a time when these services are in such high demand,” Torsten Hirche, CEO of Transforming Age, said in a statement.
Founded in 1956, Transforming Age operates 11 senior living communities in Washington and Minnesota. The company changed its name from Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest last year.
