Trilogy Health Services opened its 100th senior living community on Feb. 18.

The River Terrace Health Campus, Madison, IN, is located in a building that previously housed King's Daughters' Hospital, which Trilogy purchased in January 2013. Trilogy completely renovated the four-story building, transforming operating rooms and resident rooms into private apartments, private suites and common areas.

“It is only fitting that our 100th campus opening is being celebrated in this historic Madison, IN, location,” said Randall Bufford, president and CEO of Trilog. “Since we acquired this building from the city, we have looked forward to offering our Trilogy approach to care in a resort environment, and with River Terrace we have achieved that goal.”

River Terrace offers a full continuum of senior health and hospitality services, including independent living, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, coupled with amenities such as a theater and game room, Internet lounges, sitting rooms with fireplaces, chef-prepared meals and services specially tailored to meet residents' individual preferences.

The fourth and top floor of River Terrace includes independent apartments, including one- and two-bedroom floor plans and covered, reserved parking.

The Assisted Living Residence at River Terrace, located on the third floor, is designed to provide care and services to help residents remain active and engaged while they enjoy a homelike environment. The Residence features private suites with private baths and kitchenettes, as well as a theater, game room and dining area. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided.

The short-term rehabilitation and long-term care areas of the campus, located on the first and second floors, feature private suites with private baths, sitting areas, an Internet cafe and other amenities.

River Terrace also features Trilogy's Home Again short-term rehabilitation program, which offers a full range of medical and rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology. Trilogy's team of therapists works directly with residents' physicians to create therapy programs. A Home Again personal wellness plan also is provided to each resident before their discharge.
