Expect continued action on the seniors housing construction front, according to joint research by the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care and National Real Estate Investor.

After a very strong second quarter, almost 70% of respondents to a survey by the organizations say they expect additional new building over the next year, and most believe this activity is in keeping with current demand for such housing.

The 182 survey respondents, who were commercial real estate professionals, rated “seniors housing as the most attractive real estate property type,” according to NREI.
