Five Star Quality Care has opened a new memory care neighborhood at Foulk Manor South in Wilmington, DE.
The neighborhood, named “The Terrace,” is designed especially to care for residents facing the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and is meant for residents who are experiencing some memory changes yet are still leading active everyday lives. The Terrace neighborhood is designed as an intimate, home-like environment, with only 11 suites.
Foulk Manor South offers Five Star’s award-winning signature memory care program, Bridge to Rediscovery. Inspired by the Montessori tradition of education, it focuses on personalized activities and encourages resident engagement. Residents are able to function at their highest possible level by (re)discovering their strengths and abilities.
