When I joined the McKnight’s family in 2015, it was as McKnight’s was planning an expansion of the brand then known as McKnight’s Assisted Living. That expansion included a new website, e-newsletter and social media to join a print magazine that had been published for 12 years. Along with those changes came a name change to McKnight’s Senior Living.

Six years and more than 100 editorial awards later, we’ve introduced in-person and online events, a new awards program, new e-newsletters, a digital version of the print magazine and so many other offerings. This week, we welcome you to the third iteration of the McKnight’s Senior Living website, as well as a new logo and related changes. And as we evolve, we always have you in mind.

Our research shows that you find us informative, trustworthy and essential. Our new website builds on those traits while keeping what you always have liked: breaking news, solid reporting and analysis, and insights from your industry peers and other experts.

Whether you want to find out more about the people, policies and trends shaping the industry, enter our awards programs or sign up for our in-person or virtual events, the new site will facilitate your journey in a user-friendly fashion.

A few highlights of our new website and branding:

  • A modernized logo and a unified look across all McKnight’s brands — including McKnight’s Long-Term Care News and McKnight’s Home Care in addition to McKnight’s Senior Living — showing the breadth of our expertise and resources.
  • Improved navigation and additional entry points to access important information.
  • More content on the home page, including articles from our McKnight’s Business Daily e-newsletter and sign-up opportunities for webinars and other educational offerings.

And the effort extends past the digital. You’ll see the new look in the print magazine, too, beginning with our December issue.

But whatever the venue, the goal remains the same: To bring you great user experiences and even more of the best information and insights about the increasingly important world of senior living.

So come on this exciting journey with us by signing up for our newsletters — there’s a box on our home page for that. Or contribute to our thought leadership by writing a guest column (submission guidelines are here).

As you become familiar with the site, be sure to let us know what you like about it and how we can improve it even more.

But rest assured: We have a new look, but one thing that won’t ever change is our commitment to helping you be successful in the important work that you do.
