What a wonderful time we had May 18 honoring the 52 McKnight’s Women of Distinction of 2021 — 19 Hall of Honor inductees, 15 Veteran VIPs and 17 Rising Stars, along with a Lifetime Achievement Award winner.

The awards presentation featured congratulatory messages by a senator, NFL players, and industry leaders, as well as colleagues, friends and family members of the inductees, in addition to remarks from the honorees themselves.

If you would like to watch or rewatch the ceremony, you can do so by signing in or registering for free here. And now, thanks to the McKnight’s summer interns, Chloe Konrad and Emma Baumgartel, you have the opportunity to learn more about the 2021 Hall of Honor inductees, Veteran VIP and Rising Star honorees

Beginning today and for the next month, both McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Long-Term Care News will be profiling at least two winners per day in our e-newsletters and on our websites. (We previously profiled 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award winner Mary Ousley here.)

It’s always a good time to be inspired and to recognize outstanding people working in senior living and skilled nursing! And it’s never too early to start thinking about incredible women in your workplace to nominate for the 2022 awards.

So check out the profiles, which will be posted on our home page for the next month as well as here. And watch for the announcement about nominations for next year’s awards.
