West Point, PA-based Acts Retirement-Life Communities and Eldersburg, MD-based Integrace have completed their affiliation, bringing the two not-for-profit organizations together under shared governance and leadership, Acts announced Monday.

“Our organizations share a similar mission and culture with consistent values and commitments to residents and employees,” Acts President and CEO Gerald T. Grant said. “It’s exciting to contemplate the future of our organizations and what we can achieve as we work together to enrich the lives of our residents.”

With the affiliation, Acts expands its reach into Maryland with the addition of Integrace’s three retirement communities — Bayleigh Chase in Easton, MD; Buckingham’s Choice in Adamstown, MD; and Fairhaven in Sykesville, MD — along with Copper Ridge, a memory support residence in Sykesville, MD. Collectively, the Integrace communities are home to approximately 1,080 residents and provide a continuum of services including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation.

Acts already operates Heron Point of Chestertown, MD.

With combined assets in excess of $2 billion, Acts now manages a network of 26 senior living campuses in nine states —  Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and South Carolina — with a total of 9,504 units. It is the third-largest multi-site not-for-profit senior living organization in the country, according to the 2018 LeadingAge Ziegler 200 list.
