Argentum has been certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work for the second consecutive year, the 32-employee association announced Tuesday.

The recognition is based on ratings provided by the employees via anonymous surveys. Eighty-seven percent of Argentum employees said the association was a great place to work, compared with 59% at a typical U.S. company, according to Great Place to Work.

Argentum said its overall score and some scores in individual areas were higher than they were in 2019 and that data for 2020 showed an increase in positive responses in all five dimensions of trust, including fairness and camaraderie.

“We’re thrilled that Argentum has once again been acknowledged for its outstanding workplace culture,” Argentum President and CEO James Balda said in a statement. “This recognition shows our employees’ depth and breadth of understanding and dedication regarding our collective mission.”

Argentum said it worked last year to reinforce an open and inclusive workplace culture and established an internal culture committee. Benefits programs were expanded to include telecommuting options and healthful snack and beverage options, and the company invested in IT infrastructure. Argentum already provided flexible working schedules, a 401(k) contribution match, educational assistance and a leave policy, among other benefits.
