Front Porch Communities and Services announces Sean Kelly as new CEO

Sean M. Kelly has been named CEO of Los Angeles-based Front Porch Communities and Services.

Kelly comes to Front Porch from the Kendal Corp., where he had been president and CEO since 2016. Before his tenure as president and CEO at Kendal, he was the company’s director for new business development. Before Kendal, Kelly spent more than a decade working with senior housing and service providers throughout the United States as a principal at Retirement Living Services, a development, finance, marketing and operations consulting firm. 

Kelly holds an undergraduate degree in international relations from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and completed an advanced management program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is a member of LeadingAge, the Institute for Senior Living, The Vision Centre and several other related organizations.

Admiral at the Lake welcomes Brit Vipham as new project manager

Brit Vipham is a new project manager at The Admiral at the Lake, a Kendal affiliate in Chicago.

She will oversee the community’s strategic plan, which runs through 2025 and has six pillars and involves multiple departments working together. In addition, she will be a key decision-maker for large capital projects.

Vipham is a financial professional with more than 10 years of communication and business management experience in the field of construction. She is a mentor for the group Next-Gen through LeadingAge, where she advises anyone new to the senior living industry or interested in joining it.

Lantern at Morning Pointe, Lexington, names Sarah Aker executive director

Sarah Aker has been named the new executive director of The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Lexington, in Kentucky. She will oversee daily operations at the Alzheimer’s and memory care community.

Aker has worked as a multi-unit manager in hospitality/food service for more than 11 years. She started in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant in a nursing home, graduating from nursing school in 2014 with honors.

Over the past eight years, she has held multiple titles, including nursing unit supervisor of skilled rehabilitation, MDS coordinator for Medicare, director of admissions for the Forcht Group of Kentucky and director of nursing at Morning Pointe of Frankfort, KY.

Grace Management’s awards Rosemarie Caldwell Living Gracefully Award 

Residents and associates of Northgate Park, a Grace Management assisted living community in Cincinnati, recently celebrated the retirement of Executive Director Rosemarie  Caldwell, who is the second recipient of the new Grace Management Living Graceful Award. 

The award recognizes employees or constituents who exemplify the Grace culture through their accomplishments, leadership or commitment to the community or overall organization.

Markentum hires Kim Rosengren as CEO

Kim Rosengren has been named CEO of Markentum, a Daytona Beach, FL-based digital marketing  agency that serves the senior living industry. 

Rosengren joins Markentum from senior living technology company Sentrics, where she was the chief marketing officer. She led the company’s product and marketing initiatives, including the launch of four platform solutions, a single integrated brand with national recognition and a consolidated go-to-market strategy across four individual product divisions.

Before Sentrics, Rosengren led marketing for the North American healthcare division of Atos and held leadership roles with Aldera, Matrix Medical Network, Audax Health (now Rally Health) and TriZetto.
