12 Oaks Senior Living promotes Eilleen Aldridge to vice president of 12 Oaks Solution Consulting
Eilleen Aldridge has been promoted to vice president at 12 Oaks Solutions Consulting. In this role, she will be responsible for managing a team of consultants and setting the strategic direction for the division.
Aldridge has gained more than 20 years of management, operations and team-building experience in various roles during her career at 12 Oaks. She joined 12 Oaks in 1999 in the role of activities assistant at Caruth Haven Court, quickly advancing and assuming leadership roles at various 12 Oaks-managed communities.
Aldridge is a certified assisted living manager and has a certification in gerontology from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Candle Light Cove names Will Jones EOO
Will Jones has been hired as the new executive operations officer at the Candle Light Cove, an IntegraCare senior living community in Easton, MD.
In 2020, Jones joined the team at IntegraCare, where he formerly held an administrative role at the Queenstown Landing community in Maryland.
Calder Woods appoints Aaron Ortego as new executive director
Aaron Ortego has been hired as the new executive director of Calder Woods, a Buckner community in Beaumont, TX. Ortego will provide oversight and leadership to all levels of residences and healthcare for the continuing care retirement / life plan community.
Before joining Calder Woods, Ortego was CEO of Autism Services of Southwest Louisiana and Direct Care Inc. He also previously worked as administrative director of nursing of psychiatric services for Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, as corporate director of nursing for Guarding Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and as director of nursing for Pathway Management, where he served at Grand Cove Nursing and Rehabilitation and Landmark of Lake Charles.
Ortego graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. He holds certifications in wound care, dementia training, director of nursing training, MDS training and several other healthcare specialties.
White Horse Village announces executive director, management team
Susan Abtouche has been named executive director of the White Horse Village Foundation, a nonprofit entity that receives and administers donations to enhance the living experience at White Horse Village, a continuing care retirement/life plan community in Newtown Square, PA.
White Horse also announced two additions to its management team, including Jeannette Quinones-Brau, senior director of healthcare/nursing home administration, and Ty Mossman, senior director of technology and digital innovation.
Abtouche, vice president of mission enhancement of White Horse Village, is a certified professional fundraiser with more than 18 years of experience in the senior living industry. She previously led the development of fundraising programs at Ann’s Choice by Erickson Senior Living and Pennswood Village.
At White Horse Village, Abtouche and the mission enhancement team increased occupancy from 87% to 97%. Working with the foundation directors, the Legacy Society doubled in size, and donations increased by 25%.
Quinones-Brau previously was a certified educator and consultant for The Eden Alternative and provided direct care as a nurse before moving into senior care administration.
Quinones-Brau has held a variety of roles over the past 27 years, including executive director, nursing home administrator and positions in admissions and marketing.
Mossman brings 35 years of information technology experience to his new role. He previously led IT initiatives including programming, network administration and management, at Farm Journal magazine, IBM, Aetna and the US Post Office in Philadelphia.
Pegasus Senior Living hires Yvette Guerrero as sales director
Yvette Guerrero has been named the new sales director at Pegasus Senior Living’s Parmer Woods at North Austin in Texas.
Guerrero has worked in the senior living industry for four years as a sales and marketing director, with experience in 55-plus, independent living, assisted living and memory care communities.
