National Church Residences promotes Brianna Mettler to VP of healthcare operations

Brianna Mettler has been promoted to vice president of healthcare operations at National Church Residences. She will manage operations for all senior service departments: community wellness, support services, senior care management, home health and hospice. Additionally, Mettler will direct operations at 16 senior housing properties in Ohio and Florida. The properties range from independent living and assisted living to memory care and skilled nursing communities. In total, Mettler will oversee more than 1,200 employees.

Mettler joined the organization in 2006 as a regional rehabilitation manager. In 2010, she became home care administrator. Three years later, she was promoted to director of home health services management. Shortly thereafter, she accepted the role of executive director of community health services. Then in 2016, Mettler was promoted to her most recent position of vice president of senior services.

She is a graduate of Ohio University, where she earned an undergraduate degree in applied management. 

Front Porch appoints Jeff Sianko COO, George Akopyan CHRO

Jeff Sianko has been named chief operating officer and George Akopyan has been named new chief human resources officer for Front Porch Communities and Services.

Sianko joined Front Porch in 2004, was promoted to divisional vice president in 2008 and has been serving as interim COO since February.

Akopyan most recently was CHRO at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. He is succeeding Desiree Burton, who is retiring after 21 years of service to the organization.

Health Services Management welcomes Mac McCallum as regional administrator

Mac McCallum has been named the new regional administrator for the Indiana market at Health Services Management.

Before joining the company, McCallum served as regional vice president of operations for Majestic Care. He holds an undergraduate degree in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University.

Capstone at Centerra names Shannon Barker sales and marketing director

Shannon Barker has been named director of sales and marketing at The Capstone at Centerra Senior Living, managed by Integral Senior Living. 

Before joining the community, she was the executive director of three separate senior living communities in Lakewood, CO; Rio Rancho, NM; and Colorado Springs, CO. She has 29 years of experience in senior living operations, financial management and nursing. Her background also includes medical billing experience.

Ascension SVP named to American Hospital Association steering committee

Lisa Musgrave, MHA, BSN, RN, senior vice president of post-acute and at-home services at Ascension, has been selected to serve on the American Hospital Association’s Post-Acute Care Steering Committee), effective Jan. 1. She will advise the AHA on advocacy positions, public policy issues and post-acute member service strategies.

Musgrave was selected due to her experience developing and administering strategic, operational and financial objectives for post-acute and home-based services, post-acute care collaborative networks and high-needs home services.

At Ascension, Musgrave leads post-acute services to define the organization’s post-acute and at-home services strategy. She provides senior management and leadership to Ascension Living, which offers independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled-nursing, short-term rehabilitation and community-based options.

National Church Residences announces two board members

Sean de Four and Jami Dewolf have been elected to the board of directors at National Church Residences.

Before joining NCR, de Four was president and CEO of Southwest Solutions. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Michigan. 

Dewolf recently retired as chief marketing officer at the Alliance Data Card Services. She holds a master’s degree in human resources and strategic planning from the University of Louisville and an undergraduate degree in production and operations management from Ohio State University. 

Berkadia adds Eric Lee and Chris Lashmet

Eric Lee and Chris Lashmet are joining Berkadia’s newest specialty group, Medical & Life Sciences, as managing directors alongside Senior Managing Director and Head of Medical & Life Sciences Sabrina Solomiany. The group covers post-acute care facilities as well as medical office buildings, the life sciences, hospitals, surgery centers and behavioral health facilities.

Prior to Berkadia, Lee and Lashmet co-led the medical office group at Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors. Lee and Lashmet’s backgrounds also include time on the investments team at real estate investment trust Ventas, and Lashmet’s career also includes time at MedProperties Group. Before Lashmet started his business career, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2011, and he played professional baseball for three seasons. 

Lee earned his undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and is pursuing an MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Lashmet received his undergraduate degree in economics and business from Northwestern University.

Selectis Health appoints Andrew Sink to board of directors

Andrew Sink has been appointed to the board of directors at Selectis Health, with a portfolio that includes skilled nursing, assisted Living, independent living and continuing care retirement communities.

Sink has previously served on Selectis’ board of directors. He currently is a board of trustees member and secretary of the Eyesight Foundation of Alabama; a board member of Restoration Academy; and a member of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club.

He earned an undergraduate degree in commerce and business administration from the University of Alabama.
