Attendees can earn up to three continuing education credits at no charge when the McKnight’s Long-Term Care News Fall Online Expo returns on Sept. 30. Although created especially for those working in skilled nursing, senior living professionals will find useful information during sessions on data analytics, regulatory compliance and infection control.

Tune in starting at 10:30 a.m. ET to network and learn about new products and industry trends at the event’s booths.

The first session, “Data and analytics: The secret to optimizing operations for long-term care facilities,” will begin at 11 a.m. ET. Rob Price, senior product manager for analytics at MatrixCare, will be joined by Kevin Whitehurst, MatrixCare’s senior vice president of skilled nursing solutions.

The 2 p.m. ET session will offer practical infection control knowledge from Lori Moore, MPH, BSN, RN, CPPS, a clinical educator for healthcare with Gojo Industries. The session, titled “Improving hand hygiene in long-term care: Better is possible,” is sponsored by Gojo and Purell.

In between will be a session at 12:30 p.m. ET, with tips on navigating ever-changing federal rules and regulations. In “Right the ship: How to succeed under new CMS rules,” attendees will hear from Jim Shearon, RN, BSN, MHSA, vice president of clinical solutions for Real Time Medical Systems. The session is sponsored by Medline.
