Alla Onitskansky is a physical therapist with 24 years of experience in both operations and clinical areas of practice.

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia, she moved to the United States and earned her undergraduate degree in physical therapy at Cleveland State University and then her master’s degree in business administration from Baldwin Wallace University, Berea, OH.

She began her career at Aegis Therapies as area director and remained there for five years. She then became divisional vice president at Enduracare, followed by work as vice president of rehabilitation services at Care One. She’s currently with Genesis Rehabilitation Services, starting originally as director of clinical operations before being promoted to vice president of clinical operations in 2015.

Onitskansky earned an executive coaching certificate from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, which has enabled her to coach members of leadership teams to cultivate professional development plans. She assists in analyzing strengths, weaknesses and areas of interest. Her clinical team presented at 34 state and national conferences in 2017 and 76 events in 2018.

Beyond the walls of work, Onitskansky enjoys taking in arts and culture in a big way. When she visits her daughter in New York City, she’s also liable to attend the Metropolitan Art Museum, the ballet or a classical symphony. Above all, she says, she enjoys spending time with her family.
