A train and village display made by resident Ron Ludwig is delighting the more than 1,300 residents, plus visitors and employees of La Costa Glen senior living community in Carlsbad, CA.
Ludwig spent months putting the final touches on the intricate display, which includes mountains, gardens and lights. Children have been spending hours watching as the train winds its way through the tiny village, according to La Costa Glen.
Ludwig has been creating miniature trains and their surrounding displays for more than 70 years. He continues to work on two full-size train displays in his workshops at the community.
