The DePaul assisted living communities in North Tonawanda and Cheektowaga didn’t need the luck of the Irish to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this past month. It is safe to say there was plenty of spirit and plenty of green to go around in these communities.

Residents from Wheatfield Commons in North Tonawanda showed off an impressive array of thematic outfits, ranging from classic green bowler hats to green and white feather boas. No need for a catwalk, these residents strutted their stuff around campus.

Meanwhile, residents from Glenwell in Cheektowaga were treated to a variety of Irish delicacies. Not only that but a small National Potato Chip day celebration was held in the midst of the festivities on March 14. Glenwell dined well on a spread of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots. Now that sounds like a meal to make someone green with envy.
