dolls

Two assisted living residents of Broadway Mesa Village, a Pegasus Senior Living community in Mesa, AZ, are using their creativity to help local children.

Barbara and Beverly collect many dolls thanks to donations to the retirement community, and then create the dolls’ clothing from various materials. When the dolls are wearing their new outfits, they are donated to Sunshine Acres, a local foster home for children. The two residents also provide dolls to local police officers and firefighters who know of families in need.

Barbara and Beverly spend time making the dolls as often as possible, because they know that many families are in need. Once they have created several of the dolls, they contact Sunshine Acres. The local fire departments also contact the community when they have a need for more dolls.
