Meridian Senior Living’s Regency Palms Long Beach Assisted Living and Memory Care in Long Beach, CA, recently installed a mural by Tokyo artist Luise Ono in conjunction with the fifth annual Pow! Wow! Long Beach Street Art Festival.

The community participated in the project in celebration and support of the arts and to enhance the urban landscape.

Ono’s mural appears on the side of the Regency Palm’s building and features large Hawaiian-like flowers and greenery.

“This mural consists of motifs of alstroemeria, lilium auratum, crocus and the blanket flower,” she said. “Each flower has a flower word, and it is continuation, fun, life, memories, unity and admiration for the future. Through Pow! Wow! I wanted to express how I felt about the mural, so I had chosen these flowers for this mural.”
