Residents of St. John’s in Rochester, NY, recently were surprised with handmade Valentine’s Day cards and gifts from 17 third-graders who visited from a nearby elementary school.
Upon arriving, the students were paired with residents and began reading to them. Residents and students shared stories and treats for more than an hour.
