Juliana Ramai, graduate of Centereach High School and a future nursing student, has been awarded a scholarship from Jefferson’s Ferry.

South Setauket, NY, life plan community Jefferson’s Ferry has awarded a $2,000 scholarship to Juliana Ramai, who will begin studying nursing at Suffolk County Community College in the fall.

“Helping qualified students of all ages and experience further their education is very important to all of us at Jefferson’s Ferry,” Jefferson’s Ferry President and CEO Bob Caulfield said.

The community also will offer a second scholarship of $2,000; both employees and their dependent children are eligible.

“These programs elevate the skills of our employees, help us retain and recruit highly trained healthcare workers and overall support our residents and the larger community,” Caulfield added.
