Austin, TX-based senior housing referral service SeniorAdvice has released its third annual list of America’s top cities for retirement, and cities in 19 states are represented.
The 2019 list focuses solely on mid-sized cities:

20. Sioux Falls, SD
For its rankings, SeniorAdvice considered the presence of senior living communities, available social activities, the percentage of seniors in an area, weather, the quality of healthcare, the number of hospitals and pharmacies, the cost of living and the city’s SeniorScore (a livability measure created by SeniorAdvice that includes more than 100 variables, including access to healthcare and number of older adults).
