Music and the brain, brand-building, leadership, memory care, and senior living and healthcare policy will be the topics of featured speakers during presentations at the Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference, April 15 to 17 at the Henry B. González Convention Center Convention Center in San Antonio.

Sarah Thomas, the first female National Football League official, made post-season history by being named a down judge for a 2019 playoff game. She will speak during Argentum’s Women in Leadership Deep Dive series, sponsored by Welltower, on April 15.

Neuroscientist Daniel Levitin, Ph.D., Kim Campbell and Michael Leavitt will appear April 16.

Levitin is an award-winning scientist, musician, writer and record producer as well as the author of three best-selling books. His TED Talks have been viewed more than 8 million times.

Before becoming a neuroscientist, Levitin worked as a session musician, sound engineer and record producer, collaborating with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Santana, the Grateful Dead and Sting. He will appear on Argentum’s mainstage in the opening keynote.

Campbell, married to the late Glen Campbell for more than three decades, is an advocate for people with Alzheimer’s disease and those who care for them. She will emcee the Argentum Hero Awards, sponsored by Benchmark, and will be the keynote speaker on the mainstage on April 16.

Leavitt is a former Utah governor, secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, and Environmental Protection Agency administrator. He also is the founder of Leavitt partners, helping clients navigate the future as they transition to new models of care. Leavitt will share his insights on the integration of healthcare and senior living policy on April 16 in a panel sponsored by SIB Fixed Cost Reduction.

The closing keynote on April 17 will be delivered by Kat Cole, chief operating officer and president, North America, for Focus Brands, who was president of Cinnabon for four years. Her talk is titled “Building Highly Successful and Resilient Brands.”

TV journalist Ann Compton once again will join Argentum as the moderator for two mainstage panels and three C-suite panels on April 16 and 17.
