The Bon Secours Health Board and Bon Secours Mercy Ministries will fully divest and sell off all operations and facilities involving skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living in Ohio, Virginia and Florida.

In Youngstown, Ohio, Mercy Health already is in the process of selling three facilities to New Jersey-based Aventura Health Group. The sale is expected to close by the end of the year, Mercy Health-Youngstown spokesman Jonathan Fauvie told Youngstown’s local newspaper, The Vindicator.

The sale of senior living home Humility House, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility The Assumption Village and assisted living community Marian Living Center will affect a combined 300 residents, according to Fauvie.

Bon Secours Mercy Health is a large Catholic healthcare system, with more than 1,200 locations across several states and two countries.
