Murfreesboro, TN-based National Health Investors said Tuesday that it had collected 95.3% of contractual rent in August and deferred 4.2%, including 2.5% related to a previously disclosed deferral to Bickford Senior Living.
The real estate investment trust also reported the average occupancy rates of its three largest seniors housing operators. During the second quarter of 2020, occupancy at the 26 properties within the REIT’s Holiday Retirement portfolio fell to 83.5%, from 88.7% in the same quarter of 2019. Occupancy rates at Bickford and Senior Living Communities properties also dropped last quarter, falling to 82.5% and 79.1%, respectively.
