The Minnesota Department of Health has cited The Legends at Heritage Place, an independent and assisted living community that also provides memory care, alleging that a female employee had sexual contact with three residents with dementia, the St. Cloud Times reports.

The employee, according to the health department, fondled the breasts of two female residents and pulled on the genitals of a male resident, asserting that she was cleaning him.

Administrators of the Sartell, MN, community did not thoroughly investigate the alleged abuse after hearing about it from staff members, did not protect residents and did not report the allegations, according to the citation. The Stearns County Attorney’s Office will decide whether to file criminal charges.
