A Biden-Harris administration already is revealing potential good news for aging services providers by taking steps to address the coronavirus pandemic, Ruth Katz, senior vice president of public policy/advocacy at LeadingAge, said Monday.

The president-elect already has named members of a COVID-19 transition advisory board, she pointed out.

The association, Katz added, also expects to see a focus on the home- and community-based services in programs that are part of their platform, such caregiving, education and workforce, and address the need to fund them.

“We are committed to working with the new administration on behalf of our members just as we’ve worked with the current one,” she said.
