A Lake Worth, FL, home healthcare worker has been indicted on 22 charges, including bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, for allegedly stealing more than $22,000 from clients.

According to authorities, Jamie Jakia Cofer, 24, who also used the name Anna Bell, committed the thefts by using unauthorized access devices and residents’ Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and other identity and financial information.

She is accused of stealing from clients’ bank accounts; depositing unauthorized checks; making unauthorized credit card purchases; using clients’ money to pay her mobile phone bill, insurance and other bills; sending clients’ money to a prison inmate; and engaging in other fraudulent transactions. 

Cofer is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 25.
