Matt Bromen

Solutions to senior living’s biggest challenge, recruiting and retaining employees, will be presented at a 2:30 p.m. ET session tomorrow during the free McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo.

Matt Bromen, human resources director at Seattle-based Era Living, will present “The talent war: 3 strategies for winning in today’s competitive market.” Participants listening and watching the webinar live will be able to earn a continuing education credit.

Bromen will share how Era Living is succeeding in recruiting and retaining employees with approaches that prioritize career paths, leadership development and a collaborative culture, all while working to change the reputation of what it means to work in senior living.

Webinar participants will learn:

  • Tactics for developing an employee pipeline through both internal and external channels that deliver candidates.
  • Recruiting strategies that help differentiate an organization from competition both in and outside the industry.
  • The evolving role of human resources leadership as a developer of internal partnerships that work to engage employees at all levels.

The virtual doors to the McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo will open at 10:30 a.m. ET with the opportunity for attendees to network with peers and visit the online exhibition hall featuring products and services from companies serving the senior living profession.

The event also will feature two additional webinars, both of which will offer CE credits to those who participate live. Webinar attendees also will be able to visit the booths before and after the CE sessions.
