McKnight’s Senior Living captured three journalism awards Thursday during the American Society of Business Publication Editors’ Upper Midwest Region banquet in Chicago. This year’s contest recognizes work completed in 2018.

For the second consecutive year, the brand was recognized in the Best Web News Section category for, earning Silver honors.

Also for the second year in a row, the brand also was recognized in the Best Print News Section for McKnight’s Senior Living magazine, winning Bronze.

Also Thursday, the brand won Bronze in the Best New or Relaunched Website category.

Named on all three awards were Senior Editor Lois A. Bowers, Editorial Director John O’Connor and Art Director Mark Speakman. Also named on the Best New or Relaunched Website award was Paula Fox, who is vice president of product management and ad operations at Haymarket Media, the parent company of McKnight’s Senior Living.

National Azbee Awards of Excellence winners will be announced May 9 at the ASBPE annual conference at The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, FL. McKnight’s Senior Living is a finalist for the Website of the Year award and additional honors.

Sister publication McKnight’s Long-Term Care News also won three regional awards on Thursday and is up for the national Magazine of the Year award.
