The McKnight’s Women of Distinction Awards and Forum, originally planned for May 7 and 8 in Chicago, now will be online events on Tuesday, July 28, and Wednesday, July 29.

Events on both days will be cost-free and open to anyone wishing to attend.

The program is a joint effort by McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Long-Term Care News honoring women making a difference in senior living or skilled nursing.

July 28 will feature a celebration of the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award winner and all 2020 Rising Star and Hall of Honor inductees — 45 women in all — taking advantage of the online format with videos and other features.

July 29 will feature three webinars at which attendees will be able to earn continuing education credits. Esteemed speakers will share thought leadership about some of the most pressing workplace issues today.

“Our inaugural McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards ceremony was an overwhelming success last year,” said McKnight’s Senior Living Editor Lois A. Bowers. “We’re disappointed that we won’t be able to see everyone in person this year but are really excited about our expanded virtual event, which will have fun and educational activities.”

McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Long-Term Care News will share more details soon about programming and how to register. Subscribe to the McKnight’s Senior Living Daily Briefing e-newsletter to be sure you’re among the first to know.

The Diamond sponsor of the event is PointClickCare. OnShift and PharMerica are Silver sponsors.
