The minimum wage increased today in two states and 20 other cities or counties, according to information compiled by the Employment Policies Institute.
Statewide increases go into effect in New Jersey and Oregon. California cities or counties account for half of the changes, which also include Washington, DC, Chicago and Minneapolis.
