The effects of pandemic on telehealth and pest control in senior living and skilled nursing will be the focus of the McKnight’s Online Forum, COVID-19 Update VII, on Thursday, Sept. 10. Attendees can receive a continuing education credit by listening to each webinar.

The free virtual event is a joint effort of McKnight’s Senior Living and sister brand McKnight’s Long-Term Care News.

The first webinar of the day, “Telehealth and Care Collaboration: Unlocking New Possibilities for Virtual Care and Care Coordination,” will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Speakers will be Colin Banas, M.D., vice president of clinical product solutions for DrFirst; Petros Karamanlakis, M.D., chief medical informatics officer of health information services for Northwell Health and a member of the Department of Hospital Medicine at Huntington Hospital; and Steven Maly, APRN, a medical informaticist.

The second webinar, “Adapting Your Pest Management Services During COVID-19,” will begin at noon ET.

Speaking will be Glen Ramsey, senior technical services manager for Orkin.
