Briggs Healthcare now will offer eBriggs digital forms for assisted living software systems.

eBriggs is a digital plug-and-play content solution for electronic medical record systems. It offers full integration between HTML and advanced PDF technology, according to the company. Assisted living communities will be able to transition from paper documentation to electronic without the need to retrain staff, the company added.

Features of the digital forms include workflow triggers, structured drop-downs and required mandatory field entry.

“Developing and maintaining form content can be a huge challenge for EMR organizations,” Jeff Kane, vice president of marketing for Briggs Healthcare, said in a statement. “eBriggs digital forms for the assisted living market allow our EMR partners to focus on software workflow and usability while providing customers with the same forms they know and love.”

eBriggs forms already were available for skilled nursing and home care. The assisted living option is the third eBriggs digital documentation package.

Briggs Healthcare providers post-acute documentation and regulatory solutions for assisted living, long-term care, home healthcare, hospice, hospital, physician, clinic and other healthcare markets. The company is headquartered in West Des Moines, IA.
