Dementia, falls prevention and staffing will be the topics of three separate webinars during the McKnight’s Senior Living Expo 2017 on June 20.

Attendees at the free online event can earn up to three continuing education credits from the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards for attending live.

At a 1 p.m. ET webinar titled “The route to reduced falls, pain and polypharmacy in senior living,” Linda Shell, DNP, MA, RN, will discuss why sleep is the “fifth vital sign” for older adults and what caregivers can do to improve sleep among residents.

At a 2:30 p.m. ET session titled “Hiring for keeps,” Tommy Corner, Ed.D., and Mark Woodka will discuss how senior living operators can find the best candidates for their open positions and then engage and retain them.

The expo also will include a virtual trade show where attendees will be able to network live with colleagues and vendors, visit virtual booths and learn about the latest products, services and industry trends.
