The submission deadline for the 2020 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards has been extended one week to Friday, July 31.

The annual contest, a joint program of McKnight’s Senior Living and sister McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, recognizes providers that convey how technology — simple or advanced — has improved care and operations in their organizations.

There is no cost to enter.

The competition features two tracks — one for senior living, and one for skilled nursing — with six categories each. Categories in the senior living track include Quality, High-Tech/High-Touch, Innovator of the Year, Keep It Super Simple, Safety, and Activities. Categories in the skilled nursing track are the same except Transitions takes the place of Activities.

Entries must be submitted directly by senior living and skilled nursing provider organizations.

Stanley Healthcare is the Platinum sponsor of the program this year. MatrixCare is the Gold sponsor for the senior living track.
