The memory care residents at Poet’s Walk Round Rock in Round Rock, TX, are sharing their home with a litter of kittens. Working with the Williamson County Humane Society, Poet’s Walk is providing foster care for four four-week-old kittens for a few weeks until they are adopted.

Resident Gail Burke and her friends at Poet’s Walk are taking care of the kittens by bottle-feeding them, bathing them and making sure every day is filled with love.

“Feeding the kittens brings tears of joy to my eyes and it gives me so much happiness to do this,” Burke said.

There are three all-black females named Betsy, Brenda and Bailey, and one black-and-white male named Brian. Poet’s Walk staff and families already have signed on to adopt some of the kittens.
