Twenty-eight residents of Mount Miguel Covenant Village in Spring Valley, CA, recently filmed spoofs of Academy Award-winning films in a way that poked fun at being a senior and at aging-related issues. The spoofs, based on famous films, had titles such as “Forest Grump” (“Forrest Gump”), “Gnaws” (“Jaws”), “Mrs. Doubtcrier” (“Mrs. Doubtfire”), “Blonde with the Wind” (“Gone with the Wind”) and “Piddler on the Roof” (“Fiddler on the Roof”).
