Dorothy, who just turned 101, sews baby blankets to donate to local shelters and hospitals.

Windsor Oaks of Bradenton in Florida, a Legend Senior Living community, recently held a combined centenarian celebration for two residents. Peg turned 100 on June 3, and Dorothy turned 101 on June 26.

Peg keeps up with current events by watching the news on television and reading the newspaper, which she delivers to a friend who lives in the memory care house after she is through reading it. She also enjoys bingo and puzzles. Eight people flew in from all over the world to attend her 100th birthday.

Painting, decorating, dancing and feeding the squirrels are among Dorothy’s hobbies. She still sews baby blankets to donate to local shelters and hospitals. In her younger days, she traveled the world.
