Columbus, OH-based capital financing provider and financial adviser Lancaster Pollard recently opened an office in the San Francisco suburb of Walnut Creek, CA.

“The establishment of our San Francisco office is an integral aspect of our overall growth efforts,” said Jason Dopoulos, senior managing director and head of the western United States at Lancaster Pollard. “Even though our headquarters is in the Midwest, we have always been a national firm. The opening of our new office in Walnut Creek, coupled with our Newport Beach and Denver offices that have been thriving for years, demonstrates how we have really strengthened our presence out West.”

The San Francisco office is Lancaster Pollard’s 10th banking office nationwide, according to the company.

Grant Goodman, a vice president with the firm, is leading the office. He is the lead healthcare banker for the company in northern California and Nevada.

Over the course of his career, Goodman has underwritten and advised on transactions in excess of $2 billion, according to Lancaster Pollard. Before his latest position, he led the California region at GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services. Prior to that role, he oversaw capital originations for GE’s corporate finance business.

Goodman started his career in community banking, lending to local mid-market organizations for real estate, working capital and equipment projects.

“Grant is the right person to ensure that healthcare and seniors housing providers in northern California and Nevada can benefit from our full platform of capital solutions,” said Lancaster Pollard President Kass Matt. “He has established a great reputation because of his ability to provide cost-effective, creative solutions over the past decade.”
