The online news section of McKnight's Senior Living was recognized with a national journalism award Thursday night when the brand received a Bronze Award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors.

Azbee Award winners were announced at the society's annual conference, this year held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Named on the award are Editorial Director John O'Connor and Senior Editor Lois A. Bowers.

The online news section previously had earned McKnight's Senior Living a Silver Award in ASBPE's Midwest region, which includes all business-to-business, trade, association and professional publication journalists with brands based in Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.

McKnight's Senior Living's sister brand, McKnight's Long-Term Care News, won Silver and Bronze awards in blog and e-book categories, respectively, in the national competition.
